SASP - Somerset Activity and Sports Partnership
Somerset Activity and Sports Partnership (SASP) helps people across Somerset to be active, healthy and connected. We work with individuals, families, schools, communities and professionals to remove barriers and create inclusive opportunities to move more. Our support includes opportunities for children and young people, physical and mental wellbeing, community activity, school-based programmes and targeted support for people facing inequalities. We work with local partners to help people find activities and support that feel right for them, building confidence, connection, wellbeing and a sense of belonging.

Further info
SASP works across Somerset to help people move more and experience the physical, mental and social benefits of being active.
We provide and connect people to a range of inclusive opportunities, working with children and young people, families, schools, community organisations and health and wellbeing partners. Our work particularly focuses on people who may experience barriers to taking part or who could benefit from additional support.
Support includes community-based physical activity, programmes for children and young people, school and holiday opportunities, inclusive activity, mentoring and targeted wellbeing programmes. We also work with partners across Somerset to help create environments where people feel safe, welcome, connected and able to take part.
If you are unsure which SASP programme or opportunity may be suitable, please contact us and we can help identify the most appropriate support or signpost you to other local opportunities.
